Overview

As a key member of the Clinical Unit management team, the Trainer is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs to ensure employees acquire the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to perform their roles successfully. This includes facilitating new hire onboarding, ongoing professional development, and performance improvement initiatives — including instruction on ComPsych's proprietary computer systems, clinical workflows, policies, procedures, and quality standards — while promoting a culture of continuous learning and quality service.

 

The Trainer evaluates learner competency, provides coaching and feedback, and collaborates with leadership to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions that support operational and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Train all new hires on daily job responsibilities, internal processes, policies, procedures, and proprietary systems, and provide employment recommendations based on demonstrated competencies and performance during training.
  • Independently develop, maintain, and continuously improve training curricula, materials, manuals, and learning resources to ensure accuracy, relevance, and effectiveness.
  • Design, facilitate, and evaluate instructor-led and virtual training programs for new hires and existing staff using adult learning principles.
  • Assess learner competency through observation, coaching, role-play, quality reviews, and performance evaluations, providing timely feedback and recommendations.
  • Identify training and development needs through quality audits, performance trends, and monitoring activities, and develop targeted educational interventions to address performance gaps.
  • Develop, coordinate, and facilitate ongoing education and professional development programs to enhance clinical knowledge, technical skills, and service quality.
  • Maintain accurate training records, competency assessments, attendance, and documentation of employee progress.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using learner feedback, quality metrics, operational data, and performance outcomes, and implement improvements as needed.
  • Provide ongoing coaching to new hires and employees to reinforce learning, improve performance, and support successful transition into their roles.
  • Communicate effectively with managers regarding employee progress, development needs, competency assessments, and training recommendations.
  • Maintain and update training manuals, job aids, and educational materials to reflect policy, procedural, regulatory, and system changes.
  • Respond to team members and customer needs in a timely, professional, and collaborative manner to foster a positive team environment.
  • Prioritize and organize workload to meet deadlines while managing multiple training initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Collaborate with management, account management, quality, and operational leaders on client presentations, special projects, and initiatives that improve operational and clinical performance.
  • Coordinate staff development seminars and educational initiatives that support ComPsych's quality standards, clinical excellence, and organizational objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business, Healthcare, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience delivering training, coaching, or facilitating adult   learning programs.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and coach employees toward improved performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Ability to adapt training methods to meet diverse learning styles.
  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work a plus.
  • Familiarity in the areas of mental health and behavioral health a plus.

Other Requirements:

  • Must have high-speed internet and workspace free from distraction, disruption or noise
  • Ability to be on camera when attending work related trainings, meetings and/or events
  • Must be able to sit or stand at desk for prolonged periods of time while working on a computer
  • Must have flexibility to work varied hours to meet training needs in various time zones

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this position is ₱675,000 - 775,000 (per year). Compensation will be determined in accordance with applicable local market rates and legal requirements. Where required by applicable law, salary range information will be provided upon request.
